Leica has unveiled the Q2 007 Edition in a series of only 250 pieces. Its release is timed to coincide with the release of the latest James Bond film, No Time to Die. Note that the release of the film was delayed for more than a year due to complications associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
As with other limited edition Leica cameras, the technical specifications of the device do not differ from those of the base model, in this case the Leica Q2. In other words, all the differences are external. They include a combination of black metal parts and ocean-colored leather trim, custom made by Globe-Trotter. They also supply the included strap and hard case in the same color.
On the top of the camera there is a “007” logo and on the back there is the serial number of the device. An interesting find is the lens mount cap featuring the barrel bore familiar to Bond fans.
The Leica Q2 007 Edition camera is already available for pre-order for $ 7,995 from the Leica online store.
As for the painting, it was announced in August that its world premiere would take place on 28 September at London’s Albert Hall.
