Jamie Foxx indicates return to the stage after health problem

Jamie Foxx indicated that he intends to return to the stage with a stand-up comedy show. In a post on social media, he said he has “jokes to tell”.

The Oscar winner posted a video of himself on his Instagram. The excerpt is from his 2002 HBO comedy special.

In “I Might Need Security”, Foxx imitates singer Prince. In the publication's caption, he teased and indicated that he might return to the stage with comedy.

“Prince singing the Brady Bunch theme song was a moment,” the actor wrote in the post. “I’m planning to do more moments. I'm going to stand on someone's stage somewhere near you. I have some jokes and a story to tell.”

Before his acting career, Foxx was a cast member on the sketch show “In Living Color,” which aired in the 1990s.

He won an Oscar for his performance as Ray Charles in 2004's “Ray.”

In April 2023, he was working on a new Netflix film, “Back in Action,” starring Cameron Diaz, when he suffered a medical complication. After some time away from the public, Foxx resumed filming in January.
