Japan earthquake: Small waves on coast after 6.8 magnitude earthquake

A strong earthquake of magnitude 6.8, according to the measurement of the US Geological Survey (USGS), occurred today at approximately 21:19 local time (14:19 Greek time), centered on the island of Kyushu in southwestern Japan, causing two minor tsunami, which caused no damage, according to initial reports. The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) put the magnitude of the quake at 6.9, reporting 20cm waves at ports in Miyazaki Prefecture.
