Japan: Imposes stricter measures on those arriving from Moscow due to the Delta mutation

Stricter quarantine measures for those arriving in the country from Moscow decided to impose by the government Japan due to the transmission of the variant strain of the young coronavirus of serious concern “in the Russian capital, Delta mutation, as stated in a statement by the country’s Foreign Ministry.

The measures will take effect from July 18 and will apply to anyone arriving in Japan from Moscow, according to the EIA.

Specifically, everyone should get into six days quarantine staying in specially designed areas or hotels.

It is pointed out that until now those who arrived from Moscow had to stay in quarantine for a while three days.

With reference to coronavirus test, the same announcement states that those in quarantine will do so Tuesday and sixth day of their stay.

This measure will concern both foreigners arriving from Moscow, as well as to Japanese.
