Japanese scientists have created a machine that “reads” dreams

Scientists in Japan have created a machine that uses artificial intelligence to “read” people’s dreams, which they then record. The machine was called the “Dream Machine” and uses the functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) method. It was created in 2013 and stands out from similar devices because it leverages the artificial intelligence model, AI Stable Diffusion, according to PC Guide. Related research was published in the scientific journal Science and reported that the recording of dreams was done with a non-invasive technique used to measure and map brain activity. So the scientists did an electroencephalogram on 200 people and then put them to sleep.
