Japanese spacecraft: Mitsubishi unveils Airtrek electric car

In the spring of this year, during the Shanghai Motor Show, Mitsubishi casually unveiled the new generation Airtek electric crossover, which was created in the latest design of the Dynamic Shield brand. Soon, the car in photo format was shown at the next exhibition, and now the manufacturer has officially presented the serial version of the vehicle – this happened today, November 19, at an event in Guangzhou. The electric car, as expected, received a rather impressive front part with a stylish decorative grille, an L-shaped main headlight unit and strips of LED running lights extended along the hood.

At the back, you can also observe a rather interesting pattern of brake lights, some of which go onto the trunk. It is also worth noting the retractable handles, very similar to those that the fifth generation of Range Rover received, and the contrast between the white body and the black roof with an impressive hatch size looks very stylish (it probably looks attractive in other colors too). At the same time, the crossover was equipped with quite standard plastic wheel arches and light-alloy wheels without any currently fashionable aerodynamic patterns or linings.

Inside, the car vaguely resembles a spaceship – the interior was painted in two contrasting colors, the steering wheel is standard, there is a modern digital dashboard and a large touchscreen display of the multimedia system. The latter, which is important, has an important function – software updates are carried out over the air. Unfortunately, the manufacturer did not provide information about the dynamics, but said that on a single battery charge, the Mitsubishi Airtrek will travel up to 520 kilometers, which is quite good for a rather impressive vehicle.
