This Thursday (29), Jared Leto shared the first official image of “Tron: Ares” , the third film in the franchise. The post was also shared with Disney Studios, responsible for producing the film.
“ARE YOU READY??, the actor asks if viewers “are ready?” in the caption of the publication where it appears customized for the film. “See you on the grid…”, he includes in another excerpt. Look:
According to Deadline, other names have already been confirmed in the cast. This is the case of Gillian Anderson (“Sex Education”), Jodie Turner-Smith (“Queen & Slim”) and Greta Lee (“Past Lives”).
Also according to the portal, Disney confirmed that the film will follow Leto as Ares, a fictional character who passes from the world of video games to planet Earth.
The management is in charge of Joachim Rønning (“Maleficent: Mistress of Evil”), who shared that he started recording the film on January 19th.
The second film in the franchise, “Tron: Legacy”, was released in 2010 and featured names such as: Olivia Wilde (“Don't Worry, Honey”), Garrett Hedlund (“Troy”) and Jeff Bridges (“Iron Man”). ”) – which was also present in the first film of the trilogy. Titled “Tron – An Electronic Odyssey”, the film hit theaters in 1982 with Bruce Boxleitner (“Babylon 5”) and Cindy Morgan (“Clube dos Rogues”).
