Jed McCaleb received another 292 million XRP from Ripple

Ripple has transferred another large amount of XRP to former CTO Jed McCaleb.

The next tranche has exceeded 291 million XRP tokens, according to a tweet from the Whale Alert service, which tracks large transactions with digital currencies.

McCaleb did not postpone the sale and sent about 10 million XRP to the cryptocurrency exchange.

Data provided by the bot Whale Alert shows that about fifteen hours ago, Ripple Labs transferred a whopping 291,570,224 XRP to Jed McCaleb’s tacostand wallet.

This amount is equivalent to $ 192,347,323 at the current exchange rate of the token.

The previous major XRP transfer on June 3 from Ripple hitting McCaleb’s address was 408,123,659 XRP, which equates to $ 274,305,403.

After the sale of 9,859,906 XRP, Jed’s wallet holds 631,267,190 tokens today.

XRP community members estimate that by September Jed will have run out of all his nine billion tokens under the contract.
