This Tuesday (23), the film “Suddenly 30” turns 20 years old and the protagonists got together, online, to celebrate the romantic comedy's anniversary. Despite having already been shown more than fifteen times on Globo the classic returned to Afternoon session this Tuesday (23).
The reunion between Jennifer Garner , Mark Ruffalo It is Judy Greer was shared on social media, to the sound of Michael Jackson's “Thriller”, which made the film's soundtrack even more iconic. In addition to performing the choreography steps, the actors thanked their fans for their support over the two decades and recalled old customs from the 2000s.
In the plot, the protagonist Jenna Rink, played by Garner, is a girl who is unhappy with her own age. On her 13th birthday, she makes a wish: to become an adult. The wish, miraculously, comes true and, the next day, Jenna wakes up at 30 years old .
“We had flip phones,” mentions Judy, who played Lucy Wyman in the film. Ruffalo, who played Matt in the film, says that one of these days, he was approached by a woman who told him that she performed cosplays from “De Repente 30”, alongside her friends.
Jennifer Garner, in turn, shares that “yesterday, I met a baby named Jenna in honor of the film”.
In the caption of the post, the artists wrote: “Twenty years. We are three Boomers facing Zoom – because we want to thank you. To every person who loved this film along with us: Thank you. We see you, we appreciate you and we love you back. Forever thirty, seductive and prosperous!”
