The singer Jennifer Lopez 55, has had a busy year, having recently filed for divorce from the actor Ben Affleck 52, after just two years of marriage. Now, she is looking forward to “slowing down” and enjoying quality time with her family, including 16-year-old twins Max and Emme, children she had with her ex-husband, singer Marc Anthony.
In an interview with People magazine, she declared: “It was a very intense year for me, and what I want most now is to spend time with my children and my family, who come from the East [dos Estados Unidos]. The holidays are a very special time for us and always have been since I was little. I really look forward to those times when I can be with my sisters, relax, have fun and make new memories.”
“We haven’t been able to see each other throughout the year, so we take the opportunity to find out what each other is doing and how life is going. It’s a beautiful moment. I really love it.”
The “Hustlers” star admitted to being passionate about everything the festive season has to offer.
“I love all the decorations, the hot chocolate, the music and the food. I’m one of those people who tries to create a fairytale setting for my children with all these things. I’m passionate about the end of year festivities,” she said.
With 2025 approaching, Jennifer plans to challenge herself professionally, while seeking a deeper connection with faith and greater self-care in her personal life.
“I think a big part of this is about having a deeper connection with myself and with God, making sure we are on the same page to be our best for everyone we love around us. I also want to explore my creative limits and see how far I can go, whether it’s acting, singing, producing or expanding JLo Beauty. I want to continue challenging myself to evolve and try new things, always true to who I am and those I love.”
