The Oscar-winning actor, Jeremy Irons will join the cast of “The Morning Show” in the fourth season of the series. The information was confirmed by Apple TV+, which already houses the first three seasons in its catalog.
The star, who appeared in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and “Watchmen”, joins the protagonists Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston and will play the character Martin Levy, father of Alex (Jennifer Aniston).
The third season of “The Morning Show” won the AFI (American Film Institute) award and became the most nominated series at the 29th edition of the Critics Choice Association Awards, which took place this year.
The show explores the brutal world of morning news programs and the lives of the people who help America wake up in the morning. In addition to Aniston and Witherspoon, the all-star cast includes Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Greta Lee, Jon Hamm and Nicole Beharie.
Apple TV+ has not yet announced when the new episodes will be released in Brazil.
