Jeremy Renner told, in an interview with Peoplethat his former screen partner, Robert Downey Jr. , supported him during his recovery after a serious snow accident. The actors met on the set of “Avengers” (2012).
“We ended up having great FaceTime chats, like we were dating or something,” he recalled.
According to the actor, he was suffering from “otherworldly pain” and Downey Jr. helped him distract himself.
“He was like, 'Dude, the most important thing is that you're okay. I don't care how you feel, as long as you look good, that's all that matters,'” he said.
On January 1, 2023, Renner broke more than 30 bones after having an accident with a snowmobile in Nevada, in the United States.
The actor was crushed by a snowplow, which caused “blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries.” He was in the ICU for about two weeks.
