A 13-year-old teenager was her attacker of a new attack that took place in Jerusalem and resulted in the injury of two peopleas announced by the Israeli police.
The attack took place at the archaeological site of the City of David, in the Palestinian neighborhood of Siloam, and the attacker was “neutralized and injured”.
Israel’s Magen David Adom (MDA), the equivalent of the Red Cross, said it received a phone call at 10:42 a.m. informing it of a “terrorist attack.”
“A 23-year-old man is in serious condition and another 47-year-old man is in moderate to serious condition with gunshot wounds to the upper body.”explained an MDA representative.
“We quickly arrived at the scene and saw two victims of an armed attack”, MDA doctor Fadi Dekindek said in a statement. He clarified that the victims were conscious and were taken to the hospital.
The incident comes a day after an attack by a Palestinian gunman, who opened fire killing 7 people near a synagogue in Eastern Jerusalem.
