The Mexican actress Jessica Jurado known for having given life to Patrícia Bracho in the soap opera “A Usurpadora” , died at age 56 on Friday (11).
The news was confirmed by the National Association of Interpreters of Mexico on social media: “To her family and friends, we send our deepest condolences,” says the publication, which features a recent photo of the actress.
The text, however, does not give details about the cause of death of the actress, who lived away from the spotlight since she decided to move to the United States.
Her last work on television was the Mexican soap opera “On the Edge of Passion” 2002.
Before “The Usurper” Jurado also acted in another successful soap opera, “Maria do Bairro” . The plots were shown in Brazil by SBT.
