Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks announced today the start of their winter itineraries to Athens for the first time from two UK bases, proving their continued commitment to the Greek capital.
The addition of Athens as a new destination for the Winter Season 22/23 responds to the strong demand for flights and short breaks (city break) in the capital by UK holidaymakers, resulting in the leading leisure airline Jet2.com and specialized in Jet2CityBreaks vacation packages operate four flights a week from the UK.
Jet2.com & Jet2CityBreaks will fly to Athens during the 22/23 Winter Season from Manchester and Birmingham Airports, providing British holidaymakers with a connection to Athens during the winter for the first time. It also provides Greeks with an excellent connection to the city of Manchester and the North West of England, as well as to Birmingham and the Midlands.
Today’s announcement follows the start of flights and city breaks in Athens for the Summer Season 2022, with the first flights arriving in Athens last week.

• Up to two weekly flights (every Thursday and Sunday) continuing from summer 2022 to November 27 and from February 16 onwards, until summer 2023.
