The generation of formal jobs in 2020 fell by 46.8%. Of the 142,000 vacancies announced, 75,000 were created. The difference of almost half of fewer jobs was revealed after Caged, the General Register of Employed and Unemployed, linked to the Ministry of Economy, revised data that were out of date.
Use of mask in São Paulo
The government of São Paulo announced that it intends to make the use of masks against Covid-19 more flexible until December 1st. The measure would be for open places and, to be made official, will depend on the rates of contamination and the advance of vaccination in the state.
Covaxin Investigation
The Federal Police found signs of ideological falsehood, use of false documents and a criminal association in the negotiation for the purchase of the Covaxin vaccine. According to the PF, the crimes were committed by employees of Precise Medicine, who participated in negotiations with the Ministry of Health to sell the Indian vaccine to the federal government.
5G Auction
The auction of 5G is scheduled for tomorrow, the latest world standard for high-speed mobile internet, which is about to arrive in Brazil. Fifteen companies submitted proposals to Anatel.
Prohibition of roadblocks
The Federal Supreme Court upheld a decision that prohibits truck drivers from blocking highways. The decision was taken by the president of the STF, Luiz Fux. The injunctions that prohibit acts of this type in 20 states remain valid.
