THE President Biden He said Latinos were not being vaccinated against coronavirus because they feared they would be deported.
He said this in a speech Thursday in North Carolina, during a visit to a mobile vaccination workshop.
Speaking to a crowd of mostly African Americans and Latinos, Biden commented that historically the black population of the United States appears reluctant to be vaccinated because of racist treatment by white doctors.
He then spoke about Latin American immigrants and Hispanic-speaking Americans, saying they were afraid of vaccines because they think they will be deported. “It’s also incredibly difficult to vaccinate Latinos. Why; “Because they are worried that they will be vaccinated and deported,” he said characteristically.
