Earlier this week, the US CDC claimed that even vaccinated people living in high-risk areas must wear a mask indoors.
“Mr President, you said that if you are fully vaccinated you no longer need to wear a mask,” the journalist told him.
“No, I did not say that,” Biden replied immediately.
“It was real at the time,” he said, “because I thought there were people who would understand that vaccination makes a huge difference. But what happened was that a new mutation came. They were not vaccinated. It spread faster. “And more people got sick.”
“That’s the difference,” Biden said.
