But no one else was on the scene and no one in the crowd approached the US president, as seen in the video.
The strange move provoked a lot of comments. Among them is that of Republican Sen. Ted Cruz, who republished the images with the American president, accompanying them with two rolled eyes.
This is not the first time that Joe Biden’s moves have been commented on, with Republicans asking questions about the US president’s cognitive status.
