The singer Joe Jonas best known for being part of the trio of brothers Jonas Brothers announced his first solo album in over 10 years on the afternoon of this Wednesday (17). The album, entitled “Music For People Who Believe In Love”, will be released on October 18th. The project’s first song arrives on Friday (19).
The announcement was made via the singer’s social media, where he also released what appears to be the album cover. Check it out:
“I’m so excited to share my new album. This work is a celebration of gratitude, hope and love. These songs reflect my life from a bird’s eye view, acknowledging the many blessings around me,” the singer wrote about the album in the publication.
In the statement, the singer also explained that the album will talk about his “experiences of being a father, being a friend to yourself and others, and the happiness I found in doing what I love for a living.”
The first single from “Music For People Who Believe In Love,” titled “Work It Out,” hits digital platforms on Friday (19). About the song, the singer wrote: “I feel thrilled and grateful to collaborate with some of my favorite musicians and creators. I hope you find as much happiness and peace as I do listening to it.”
Joe Jonas has already ventured into a solo career before, with the album “Fastlife” from 2011. He was also a member of the band DNCE from 2018 to 2022. His most recent work was with the Jonas Brothers, on “The Album” (2023).
Alongside brothers Nick and Kevin Jonas, he went on tour in 2023 and 2024, performing in Brazil in April of this year.
