Joe Jonas confesses that he auditioned to be Peter Parker in ‘The amazing Spider-Man’

The Peter Parker we met in The amazing Spiderman He will always be in our hearts because Andrew Garfield knew how to add an extra touch of charisma, creativity and courage to the character, but… have you ever imagined what Spider-Man would look like if he had been played by one of the Jonas Brothers?

Yes, the question sounds a bit far-fetched but it was very close to coming true, as Joe Jonas confirmed in an interview for the podcast Just for Variety that he auditioned for the role, but luck was not on his side.

During the interview, Joe recalled the time he auditioned to play Peter Parker in the Sony movie, The incredible Spiderman. Although this was his dream role, she couldn’t get it.

At the moment you are destroyed or you feel defeated. But you realize that this other person was excellent. I remember years ago he was ready for Spider-Man and he was so so excited and it was the year that Andrew Garfield got it. Obviously, he was the correct one. But I remember that was a big thing at the time, going around with calls and the director used to be a video clip director. So I said ‘I have an entry here’. But you know what? I love the process of auditioning and putting yourself out there and having to prove yourself.

Although Joe felt bad about not getting the part, he acknowledged that Andrew Garfield, who got the lead in the film, did an excellent job.

She is my harshest critic. Yeah I’ll be a little nervous [pero ella] she’s very helpful and I feel like she’s a great acting coach to guide me through this. And I have you to thank.
