The senior vice-president and manager Robinhood Crypto Johann Kerbrate believes that tokenization can open new opportunities for retail investors and give access to traditionally limited classes of assets.

During the Consensus 2025 conference, Johann Kerbrat emphasized that some of the real assets, such as real estate or private securities, are available only by 10% of the US inhabitants. And only accredited investors can invest in private securities.

“How many people can afford a house or apartment in New York? But if you divide this apartment into parts using tokenization, then you can afford it and make a profit. In addition, this technology greatly facilitates the exchange of such property and makes it much more affordable, ”Kerbrat emphasized.

The Robinhood top manager also believes that stablecoins have a cloudless future and more than 100 such tokens will appear. Now the market is dominated by stablecoins tied to the US dollar. However, according to Kerbrat, much more similar tokens will appear, which will be more specialized for certain markets:

“For example, in order to transfer funds from the United States to Singapore, you can use a certain stabelcoin. Most likely, there will be a shift from the use of stablecoins to the use of certain platforms with their stable cryptocurrencies. ”

According to Deloitte analysts, after 10 years, the tokenized real estate market will reach $ 4 trillion, and the technology itself will significantly change the investment approach.
