The documentary “The Music of John Williams” which chronicles the life and career of the maestro and composer of several famous film scores John Williams 92, got his first trailer this Monday (7). The production premieres in November 1st on the streaming service Disney+.
The documentary will seek to portray John Williams’ early days as a jazz pianist, until his 54 Oscar nominations and five wins. The musician is a composer of major film scores and franchises. Some of them are: “Harry Potter”, “Star Wars”, “Jurassic Park”, “ET: The Extra-Terrestrial” and “Jaws”.
The film will also feature interviews with artists and filmmakers whose lives were touched by the musician, such as Chris Martin (Coldplay), as well as with Williams himself. “The Music of John Williams” is directed by Laurent Bouzereau and production of Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall, Sara Bernstein, between others.
“After he composed it for me, I start to see my film through his eyes,” says Spielberg in the trailer. “Music is enough for a lifetime. But a lifetime is not enough for music”, declares John Williams, in turn.
