Johnny Depp made a surprise appearance during the MTV Video Music Awards 2022 , this Sunday (28). The actor had his face digitally projected onto the astronaut symbol of the music broadcaster, Moon Man.
One image showed the actor floating across the stage during commercial breaks. “I needed the job,” he would say.
Johnny Depp’s appearance at the awards marks the actor’s latest attempt to return to the spotlight, following his court victory over his ex-wife, actress. Amber Heard.
In another video, posted on social media, Johnny Depp declared that he was “available for birthdays, bar mitzvahs, weddings, anything you need…anything.”
“Oh, I’m a dentist too,” he said in another appearance.
This year, after the trial period that ended in early June, Depp launched a new musical project together with the guitarist. Jeff Beck . Titled “18”, it is a mix of original compositions and covers by other artists, such as John Lennon and the Beach Boys.
He is also returning to the movies. He will direct his first film in 25 years, about the Italian painter Amedeo Modigliani, and won his first starring role with Louis XV in the French film “Jeanne Du Barry” – yet to be released.
