Johnny Depp opens a TikTok profile (and immediately surpasses 3 million followers)

No video, yet already 3.1 million followers: Johnny Depp has just opened a TikTok profile and interest is already booming (1.6 million in a single afternoon, yesterday 6 June). The actor, fresh from the victory of the libel trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard, is dedicating himself to himself and his passions, even if he has not yet started following anyone on his account.

In recent days, the artist posted this long and passionate letter on Instagram (where he is followed by 24 and a half million users), after more than four months of absence from social media: “Six years ago, my life, the life of my children, the lives of those close to me, and also the lives of those who for many, many years believed in me and they supported me are change forever. In the blink of an eye. I have been leveled with false, very serious and criminal allegations through the press, leading to an endless battle of hateful content, but no punishment has been imposed on me. Yet they have spread far and wide twice around the world in a nanosecond and have had a catastrophic impact on my life and career.

Six years later, the jury gave me my life back. And I’m relieved.

My decision to move forward with the lawsuit, while knowing full well how much weight I would have to bear in the legal battle, resulting in the global spectacle on my life, came after careful consideration.

From the start, the intent of this lawsuit has been to reveal the truth, at any price. Telling the truth is something I owed to my children and has someone who always believed in me. Now I feel at peace because I finally know that I have succeeded ».

These calibrated, balanced and serene words show a soul finally reconciled with itself and with the world, ready to get back on top and recover lost ground.

Regardless of whether his ex-wife pays him the court-ordered compensation or not, Johnny Depp can now walk the world with his head held high.

Fans are wondering – an almost impossible hypothesis – if Warner Bros. wants to consider bringing the actor back to the saga of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Replaced by Mads Mikkelsen in the third cinematic chapter for the role of Grindelwald, Depp remains the only legitimate holder of that part for most of the audience. The film production house, on the other hand, has confirmed the presence of Amber Heard in Aquaman 2, even if the scenes of the actress have been resized (at least from the first rumors).
