The Ministries of Shipping & Island Policy and Education & Religions have launched, once again, the initiative to provide a discount from the shipping companies on the tickets of the substitute teachers, who staffed the educational structures of the country’s islands, for the school year 2021 -2022 in order to facilitate their transfer to their place of permanent residence.
All the ferry companies will offer a discount on the ferry tickets of the substitute teachers, who are going to travel from 27/06 to 02/07, from the island where they undertook service, to their places of permanent residence.
Mr. Plakiotakis and Ms. Makri warmly support the care addressed to the substitute teachers, which ensures a discount on their ferry tickets as well as on the tickets of their vehicles (cars and two-wheelers) for the period from 27/06/2022 until 02/07/2022.
The initiative is part of the essential recognition of the work of our teachers, who perform a special function and offer the maximum in the educational process.
