On Sunday (29), Jojo Todynho mourned the death of digital influencer Rodrigo Amendoim, found dead at home on Saturday (28), in the metropolitan region of Salvador.
Taking advantage of the visibility accumulated on social media, the singer recalled the importance of taking care of mental health. “Mental health is no joke. If there is a possibility, it will happen. We are talking about the mind, something that destroys us in the blink of an eye”, she began.
“If we don’t have the sensitivity to look at our lives and see that we need care, imagine seeing someone else who is screaming for help on the edge of an abyss? Life is not a strawberry, it is not a joke, it is not a fairy tale,” she stated.
Afterwards, the artist reinforced the warning especially for her younger audience. “Please stop trying to sell a life that is not yours, a reality that is not yours. Let’s put our foot down. Wake up to life. Mental health is no joke, depression is cool,” she said.
“[…] If you have a problem, take care of yourself. If you have the wisdom to live, take care of yourself. […] Live reality. Stop wanting to live something that is not your reality. If you’re fine, you’re fine. If not, take care of yourself”, he pointed out.
Finally, Jojo also said that he has a responsibility to maintain a sincere exchange with internet users and followers.
“I have this responsibility to come here, show my face and talk to you. Get ready because a lot is still going to happen. We are all on the edge of an abyss and we are being pushed further and further. If you don’t have direction, you will sink”, he concluded.
