The production earned just US$40 million (R$218.4 million) in the country a value lower than “The Marvels ” and “The Flash “, both considered commercial failures which raised US$46.1 million (R$251.7 million) and US$70 million (R$382.3 million), respectively.
According to the first projections, “Joker: Delirium for Two” was expected to gross US$70 million (R$382.3 million). However, a few days before the premiere, expectations dropped to US$50 million (R$273 million) . The final number is lower than expected by Warner Bros. who produced and distributed the feature film.
