It starts this Wednesday (4), pre-sale of tickets for the movie “Joker: Delirium for Two”, starring Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix . Tickets are sold almost a month before the film’s theatrical release, which is scheduled for October 3.
In the feature film, Phoenix returns to the role of Arthur Fleck, who continues to struggle with his dual identity, but now he awaits trial for the crimes committed as the Joker. The singer Lady Gaga in turn, will be responsible for bringing to life the villain Harley Quinn — the Joker’s girlfriend in the comics — who shows him the beauty of music and true love.
In an interview with American magazine Variety, the director Todd Phillips who also directed the first film, said that the protagonists sing “live” and that much of the songs serve as dialogue.
Names like Zazie Beetz (“Deadpool 2”), Catherine Keener (“Being John Malkovich”), Brendan Gleeson (“The Banshees of Inisherin”) and Jacob Lofland (“Bandit Love”) also make up the cast.
