Samba singer and composer Jorge Aragão, 72, was discharged from hospital this Friday (12). The singer was hospitalized at the BP Mirante hospital, in São Paulo, capital, since Tuesday (9) after feeling unwell.
Yesterday afternoon, Aragão said on social media that he remains “firm and strong” and thanked the messages of support.
The singer also mentioned the nickname he receives from his friend Jorge Vercilo, “Highlander”, to comment on his departure from the hospital. “The Boss is still on!” joked Aragão.
This Friday, the singer spoke through his advisor. “I feel like a cat, old, but a cat and ready for battle as soon as possible.”
Aragão was under observation for a “detailed battery of tests and better assessment”, according to the press office, but the reasons for the malaise that took the singer to the hospital were not disclosed.
