Josh Freese is fired from Foo Fighters and reacts: “shocked and disappointed”

The drummer John Freese 52, communicated on their social networks that it was fired from the band Foo Fighters. The musician, who was in the band for two years, mentioned that he had never been dismissed from a group and was “shocked” and “disappointed” with the decision.

“Foo Fighters called me on Monday night (12) to warn me that they decided to” go in a different direction with their drummer. “No reason has been given. Anyway, I took advantage of the last two years with them, both inside and offstage, and support what they think is better for the band,” he said in his caption.

Following, he mentions that in his 40 years of professional drums, he was never fired from a band, and adds: “Although I am not angry, I’m just a little shocked and disappointed. But, as most of you know, I always worked as a freelancer and changed bands, so I’m fine.”
