Josh Peck appeared in Sunday’s episode (4) “The Last of Us” a surprise special appearance that the former Nickelodeon star said that he felt honored to do.
Peck’s surprise appearance in HBO’s drama happened early in the fourth episode of season two, and although his character died moments, Peck wrote on his Instagram page on Sunday that it was “a difficult secret to keep.”
“It was an honor to play a small role in one of my favorite series, with one of my favorite actors of all time,” he said.
The star of “Drake and Josh” also posted a set carousel of the set, including a record alongside actor Jeffrey Wright. Peck played a soldier from the federal disaster response agency (Fedra) who told an inappropriate story to his fellow soldiers in a flashback scene before he and his crew are killed when the tank explodes.
The episode also marked the first time Wright – who dubbed the character Isaac in the video game where the series is based, a role he is reprising on the screen – appeared this season.
Isaac is the silently powerful leader of a large group of militia. Kate Herron, who directed the episode, told Entertainment Weekly in an interview published on Monday (5), which was “a lot of fun” secretly climbing peck for the role.
