Josh Peck broke the silence and, for the first time, spoke about the legal troubles of his co-worker and co-star of Drake & Josh, Drake Bell, after he pleaded guilty in Ohio to putting a minor at risk.
The New York City native gave his opinion on the situation for Bell, who was sentenced to two years of probation and will be required to serve 200 hours of community service as part of his sentence on the charges.
You feel disappointed in your friend
It’s annoying, it’s an unfortunate situation. It is really disappointing.
Variety was in charge of asking Peck about Bell’s sentence and general situation during the premier from his new series Turner and Hooch on Disney + last Tuesday. The actor commented on how disappointing the case is, but declined to comment further.
Together they had great success in the series
Drake & Josh was one of Nickelodeon’s most successful series since its premiere in 2004 and over its four seasons, the show had two films and was one of the series with the most viewers, with an approximate of three million in each episode.
After the victim filed charges against Bell in October 2018 and the actor initially pleaded not guilty, on June 3, the singer of I Found A Way He was arrested and it was not until a few days ago that a sentence was passed against him.
