The journalist Chico Felitti announced on Wednesday night (13) that the digital influencer Jout Jout 33, will be the topic of his next podcast. The revelation was made during the recording of the podcast Um Milkshake Chamado Wanda, by Papelpop. According to Chico, the ex-YouTuber will reveal the reasons that made her leave the internet.
Felitti is responsible for successful productions such as “A Mulher da Casa Abandonada”, “A Coach”, “O Ateliê” and “ Além do Meme”.
“I’m very excited. I’m launching a new podcast in 10 days and I can finally talk about what it is (…). It was a secret, but now the subject has become a topic on the internet, by coincidence: Jout Jout”, he announces during the chat. “[Foi] a year of searching for it, until we found it. There it is in a completely remote place”, he adds.
The journalist says that no one knew where Jout Jout was and that there was a doubt as to whether or not she would give an interview for the podcast. However, the ex-YouTuber agrees to talk to Felitti. “She sits down and gives an hours-long interview and tells us why she left the internet, talks about her plans for the future…”, he reveals.
Jout Jout’s return was announced by the influencer herself on Monday (11). In a video published on her Instagram profile, she appears wearing a straw hat collecting clothes from the line in a rural setting to publicize an event — a “conversational meeting” — in a video without audio.
The conversational meeting “Ali Fora” with Jout Jout takes place on the afternoon of December 21st at the Teatro Municipal de Ouro Preto, in Minas Gerais. Tickets can be purchased via the Sympla website – prices start at R$60 (half price) and go up to R$120 (full price).
In the event description, Jout Jout explained a little about why he decided to leave the internet.
“I stopped making videos for various reasons, but one of them, one of the most important, is that I didn’t have much to say anymore, you know? This day comes in the life of a YouTuber. Influencer? I don’t even know what it’s called anymore. Anyway, I try to follow a line that is: if you don’t have something to say, don’t say anything. I see it as kindness to whoever is listening,” she wrote.
