JPMorgan: only 5% of large investors expect Bitcoin at $ 100,000 in 2022

Investment bank JPMorgan conducted a survey among its large clients. Almost all of the respondents do not share the optimism that Bitcoin will soon reach $ 100,000.

Only 5% of large investors surveyed by the investment bank expect that by the end of 2022 the rate of the first cryptocurrency will exceed $ 100,000, Bloomberg reports. At the same time, more than 40% of respondents hope that the BTC rate will be above $ 60,000 by the end of the year.

“I’m not surprised at the bearish outlook on the cryptocurrency market,” says JPMorgan chief strategist Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou. “But our bitcoin futures indicator is oversold.”

Panigirtzoglu himself believes that now for bitcoin a fair price in the range of $ 35,000- $ 37,000. Recently, the rate of the first cryptocurrency almost dropped to these values, but now BTC is trading at about $ 42,000.

The fact that the BTC rate will reach $ 100,000 in 2022 was said by the President of Salvador Nayib Bukele. And the co-founder of Block. One Brock Pierce predicts that Bitcoin could grow to $ 200,000. Interestingly, the JPMorgan analyst team expected BTC to rise to $ 146,000 in the long term, although in 2022 it would only rise to $ 73,000.
