JP Morgan To Open Limited Access Bitcoin Fund

Financial holding JPMorgan Chase will open access to the first cryptocurrency through a bitcoin fund for some clients. This is reported by CoinDesk with reference to informed sources.

According to the publication, the investment tool will be launched in the summer of 2021. One of the interlocutors said that the storage of assets will be entrusted to the New York Digital Investment Group platform.

Managed by JPMorgan, the fund is targeting clients of the private wealth management division, the sources said.

In February 2021, JPMorgan Chase announced its readiness to add support for bitcoin if there is demand.

In March, the holding announced the launch of a basket of stocks in cryptocurrency-related companies. They also saw interest in Bitcoin from institutional investors.

In April, JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon called for stricter digital asset regulation.
