Juanjo Cano will replace Hilario Albarracín as president of KPMG in Spain

Juanjo Cano will assume the presidency of the consulting firm KPMG in Spain starting next October 1 and will replace Hilario AlbarracÃn, who has held the position for the last five years and is retiring after a 30-year career with the company. Cano has been chosen by the partners of the firm in accordance with the rotation procedure established in the statutes, after two years as CEO.

The one who will be the next president of KPMG started his career with the company in 1996 And, since then, he has gone through the Audit, Transaction Services, Family Business, Markets and Deal Advisory departments, in addition to being in charge of coordinating the firm’s regional offices.

“It is a great challenge and pride to preside over KPMG at such a complex and relevant time for our companies, marked by the recovery plans after COVID-19 that we must take advantage of to build a more digital, more sustainable and inclusive production model, “Cano said in a statement sent this Thursday.

During his presidency, Cano will promote services and capacities more related to technology, digital transformation and sustainability, in addition to enhancing the firm’s performance as an auditor in Ibex 35 companies.

Likewise, it will strengthen KPMG’s positioning in legal and tax services to companies, in the regulatory sphere and in advising on transactions and large financial and operational restructuring processes.

For his part, AlbarracÃn has assured in the same statement that Cano will have a “great strategic vision” when leading the consultancy.
