Judge issues protection order against Ricky Martin for domestic violence

According to the authorities, the order was issued by Judge Raiza Cajigas Campbell of the San Juan Court of First Instance, and because it is a case covered by Law 54, the police do not disclose the name of the person who requested the order.

Singer Ricky Martin reacted this Sunday on his Twitter account to the protection order against him, issued by a judge on Saturday.

“The protection order against me is based on totally false allegations, so I will face the process with the responsibility that characterizes me,” the Puerto Rican said in his message.

“The allegations against Ricky Martin, leading to a protective order, are completely false. We are confident that when the true facts come to light on this matter, our client Ricky Martin will be fully vindicated,” the artist’s legal team said in written statements.
