Julia Fox: «I spent my 27th birthday crying, I was afraid of getting old»

Julia Fox has opened up about spending her 27th birthday crying Why he was afraid of getting old. The actress and model in a video on Tik Tok made her fragility known, showing that everyone can suffer insecurities over time, especially if you work in the entertainment industry. The reason for her anxiety about her was due to the fact that at 27 she is closer to thirty than twenty.

“You’re officially in your thirties. Okay? So that’s how deep this sh*t goes for women.” Fox, who celebrated her 32nd birthday earlier this year on Feb. 2, 2022, shared the clip after claiming in a previous video that for her, “aging is fully underway.” She then criticized the claims of anti-aging products, warning that she would “sue” the companies because they don’t actually stop people from aging. “I’m going to get old regardless… So let’s stop lying to ourselves, getting old is fucking exciting,” Fox said.

The video garnered many positive comments from Tik Tok users who underlined that Fox is in fact still young, but she replied that “even if this is true, in the entertainment industry at 30 you are considered old”.

She explained that she cried on her 27th birthday, adding in a follow-up video that she was “in his bed all day.” Fox described herself as a “tyrant” when her friends attempted to celebrate with her, shouting, “Fuck off! I told you we don’t celebrate! There’s nothing to celebrate!” she reportedly said as they attempted to enter her room with candy and candles. “I didn’t want to look forward to the day – I was like ‘don’t post because I don’t want to draw attention to the fact that I’m turning 27’ or ‘I just want it to go like any other day'”. In retrospect, Fox notes he’s “sad” today for trying to ignore her birthday, says one of her friends who tried to celebrate it with her, Harmony, has since passed away.

«Harmony, the girl I was with, is dead. She won’t even have the privilege of getting old, you know. So we deny ourselves these milestones for what?». The actress has been praised for her candor on the matter, with many agreeing with his view of aging as a ‘privilege’.

An approach that the star recently brought out by showing himself with gray hair on a red carpet explained as a “love letter to aging”.
