Through your social networks, Juliana Paes shared that he ran away from home for the first time to go to a Madonna concert. The report was made days before the Queen of Pop's show, which takes place this Saturday (4), on Copacabana beach, in Rio de Janeiro.
Wearing a bathrobe, while being made up, the actress recalled what her experience was like during “The Girlie Show”, Madonna’s first visit to Latin America, in 1993.
“I went without telling, hidden from my mother. I arrived and was glued to the fence. My mother was afraid and worried and I was in love with Madonna”, says Juliana. She also reveals that she saved her money little by little to be able to buy the ticket and transport to the venue.
She then says that she had to tell her mother where she was when it got dark and remembers that she called her from the pay phone. “I saw all of this, very close up”, she concludes. At the beginning of the video, which has the song “Vogue” in the background, Juliana Paes says that she even saw Madonna's panties during the performance.
In a free and historic way, the star's performance closes “The Celebration Tour”, which marks 40 years of his career. 1.5 million people are expected and Madonna is expected to take the stage at 9:45 pm and perform for two hours.
Before that, starting at 7pm, some DJs will perform opening sets. At 8pm, American DJ Diplo will be in charge of the show that will precede the vocal performance of “Vogue” and “Like A Prayer”.
