Special July vacation schedule
In the month of July, the Science Park holds a special program for the holidays, with interactive, playful and educational activities. The activities take place until the 30th, in the morning and afternoon periods.
The program brings together scientific activities, demonstration of snake venom extraction, stories about jararacas and their colors, trails through the forest paths of Butantan, educational workshops, indigenous experience, among other attractions.
One of the most sought after activities, called “From venom to serum”, reveals to the public how the production of a snakebite serum works. Specialists explain the main characteristics of the animal and demystify negative stories involving the theme.
The activities will last between 40 minutes and 1h30. In addition to the special program, visitors can also get to know the other attractions of the park, such as museums, nurseries and open spaces for coexistence.
Opening hours are from 7 am to 5 pm, with free admission, from Monday to Sunday, and the museums are open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9 am to 4:45 pm. The Science Park is located at Avenida Vital Brasil, 1500, Butantã, in the capital of São Paulo.
