Justice and Army hold social task force in the city of São Paulo

The Federal Regional Court of the 3rd Region (TRF3) promotes the second edition of the “Mutirão of Assistance to the Homeless Population in the City of São Paulo – Pop Rua Jud Sampa”. The action takes place from 9 am to 3 pm, at Praça da Sé, in the capital of São Paulo, until next Wednesday (23).

Institutions of the federal, state and municipal public authorities and civil society organizations participate in the action that offers services to the vulnerable population in the central region and adjacent areas.

According to judge Marisa Cucio, one of the coordinators of the initiative, the task force involves three axes: assistance and health care; citizenship, with the issuance of documents and regularization of records; and judicial, with legal assistance provided by partner institutions, to guarantee access to Justice, with the filing of actions and attention to welfare, social security, labor and criminal matters.

Services and services offered

Among the services provided is legal guidance for possible lawsuits, with the participation of lawyers (volunteers and public), interns, magistrates, judicial experts, prosecutors and public servants.

On site, doubts can be clarified about social security benefits, Brazil Aid, consultation and release of the Severance Indemnity Fund (FGTS), PIS/PASEP, unemployment insurance, conditional release, defense in criminal proceedings, regularization of criminal proceedings, scheduling court appearances, signing an open regime card, family law, in addition to consulting and filing labor lawsuits.

There will also be issuance of first and second copies of documents; registration and updating in social programs (CadÚnico); INSS benefit requirements; regularization of voter registration; reservist certificate; Employment Opportunities; guidelines on human rights, women, LGBTQIA+, immigrants and former prisoners.

In the area of ​​health and social assistance, rapid testing for HIV, syphilis and hepatitis will be offered; vaccination for adults and children; blood pressure measurement; guidance for diabetes, tuberculosis, alcohol and drugs; oral health; hair cuts; makeup; toy library, services for pets, among others.

More than 40 entities will offer about 30 services, making the place a meeting point for bodies such as the Special Federal Court of São Paulo, Labor Court of the 2nd Region, Justice of the State of São Paulo, National Institute of Social Security (INSS ), Government of the State of São Paulo, City Hall of São Paulo, Army Command, Federal and State Public Prosecution Service, Union and State Public Defender, Federal Attorney General, Order of Lawyers of Brazil, Academic Centers, Caixa Econômica Federal , Federal Police, Regional Electoral Court of São Paulo, Red Cross, Archdiocese of São Paulo, Archdiocesan Cáritas and Franciscan Solidarity Service.
