Uber, 99, City Hall and Justice
The issue involving motorcycle taxi services has been debated again in recent weeks.
Last Thursday (20), Procon notified Uber and 99 to explain, within 48 hours of the supply of mototaxi service in the city.
The municipality mentions that the availability of the sport, even with the provisional suspension of justice, appears “disobedience to a court decision and still without regulation by the city of São Paulo”.
Last Friday (16), the São Paulo Court of Justice accepted an appeal from the municipal administration and provisionally suspended the motorcycle taxation service in the capital, until the case is definitively judged.
Even after the suspension of the sport, AAS Companies 99 and Uber continue to operate motorcycle taxi services in the state capital.
