Justice denies release of personal trainer who ran over security

The Justice of São Paulo denied the release of personal trainer Andrea Luciana Zaude, arrested in the act on Monday (26), after an attempt to embezzle and run over a security guard in the parking lot of a shopping center in the North Zone of São Paulo.

The decision, published on Friday (30), mentions that preventive detention is necessary to guarantee public order “in view of the dangerousness of the patient, evidenced by his criminal personality, since he was convicted of robbery and embezzlement (recurrence), responds for theft and committed the offense in question when he was on parole,” says an excerpt from the decision.

The defense alleges that Andrea would be under illegal constraint, that the arrest would have occurred in flagrante delicto prepared and that the personal trainer is the victim of constant police persecution.

THE CNN contacted the defense for information about Andrea’s use of prescription drugs and is awaiting a response.

Regarding this, the Justice states that, according to the prescription, drug treatment can be carried out in the prison itself.

According to information from the State Department of Criminal Investigations of the Civil Police of São Paulo, the personal was booked for attempted embezzlement, attempted murder and disobedience.

According to the incident report, Andrea went to the location to pick up an order placed at a jewelery store, presenting a false bank transfer receipt at the time of delivery.
