Australians in the country will be trapped in India due to the outbreak of coronavirus, according to a decision of the Australian government which forbids them to return.

A federal court has announced that it will consider the appeal of a 73-year-old Australian who lives in Bangalore, India and wants to return to Australia, as broadcast by AMPE.

The Conservative government has justified its decision by explaining that it must protect Australian quarantine facilities that are at risk of being flooded with covid-19 cases by people returning from India.
