In June 2022, Justin was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, a condition that affects the facial nerve near the ear and can lead to hearing loss.

Due to this diagnosis, the singer had to cancel the tour he was doing at the time, with the Rock in Rio Festival in Brazil being his last performance so far. Subsequently, Justin shared a video on Instagram explaining the disease that afflicted his body and showing without filters how his facial movements were being affected.

After I got off stage, exhaustion got the best of me and I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now, so I’m going to take a break for now. I’ll be fine, but I need time to rest and improve.

Nine months after that diagnosis, Justin published a video stating that he is still in the recovery process and performs facial exercises that have allowed him to gradually recover the mobility of his face.

The singer showed the progress he has had with a small but very coordinated eye movement and even smiled for his followers, showing that his recovery has been very effective.

At the moment, Justin Bieber has not given details of the clinic that handles his case or the treatment he is undergoing, but it is a fact that this has had positive results, a situation that has brought happiness to his followers, who do not stop praising his beautiful smile.
