Justin Bieber suspends concerts in São Paulo to take care of his health

After rumors on the web, Justin bieber announced, this Tuesday (6), the suspension of the shows of the Justice World Tour, including the performances in São Paulo, scheduled for September 14 and 15.

Two days after taking the stage at Rock in Rio 2022 in a note published on social media, the Canadian singer said he needs to take care of his health.

“Last weekend, I performed at Rock in Rio and gave my all to people in Brazil. After leaving the stage, exhaustion took over me and I realized that I need to make my health a priority now. So I’m taking a break from touring for now. I’ll be fine, but I need time to rest and get better.”

The producer responsible for the shows in Brazil, Time for Fun, said that it will soon release information about the procedure for refunding or maintaining tickets to holders.

In June of this year, Bieber shared that he struggled with Ramsey-Hunt syndrome, which left him unable to move half of his face and, as a consequence, unable to take the stage. He even postponed shows at the time and was unable to finish the performances in North America.

“Earlier this year, I went public with my battle with Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome, where my face was partially paralyzed. As a result of this illness, I was unable to complete the North American leg of the Justice Tour.

After resting and consulting with my doctors, family and staff, I headed to Europe in an effort to continue the tour. I did six live shows, but it cost me a lot. Last weekend, I performed at Rock in Rio and gave my all to people in Brazil.

After leaving the stage, exhaustion took over me and I realized that I need to make my health a priority now. So I’m taking a break from touring for now. I’ll be fine, but I need time to rest and get better.

I am so proud to bring this show and our message of justice to the world.

Thank you for your prayers and support through all of this! Love you all!”
