Justin Timberlake used social media to announce his sixth studio album. Titled “Everything I Thought It Was”, the new album does not yet have a release date, but it has a teaser and a performance by the artist of one of the tracks on the project.
After archiving posts and changing profile photos, Justin Timberlake released the teaser for his new album. The video features an old model car driving towards a gas station in the middle of the desert. Meanwhile, a narration by none other than actor Benicio Del Toro.
“What do we have here?” says the narrator at the beginning of the video. “Ooh, what a cool car! Wait, does that say JT? OK, this sunset is definitely not real. Ah, there's Justin! Why doesn't he turn around? What the hell is he looking at?” he adds.
Then the name of the album is revealed. Look:

Justin Timberlake performed at the Orpheum Theater, located in Memphis, a city in the state of Tennessee, in the United States, on Friday (19). There, he previewed what was to come by singing the new track “Selfish”, which will probably be on the new album.

The last album released by Justin Timberlake was “Man of The Woods”, in 2018. Despite this, he has not been absent from music over time. It is worth mentioning that the singer reunited with the former group NSYNC, with whom he released the song “Better Place”, featured on the soundtrack of “Trolls 3 – Together Again”, a film released at the end of 2023.
