K. Ah. Karamanlis-14th SW Congress: The triptych for the next day of the Center-Right

The Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Costas Karamanlis, underlined three principles on the basis of which the New Democracy will continue to be at the forefront of the modern European Center-Right, in his speech at the 14th Ordinary Congress of the New Democracy.

According to Mr. Karamanlis, “first, the citizen has the right to keep most of what he earns by factor. This means low and fair taxation. Second, the state to monitor market mechanisms and protect competition for the benefit of of the many and not the few, and thirdly, the building of a viable, welfare state governed by the rule of law, which carefully distributes its resources with social sensitivity and justice. ”

The Minister of Infrastructure and Transport clarified that only in this way can we protect the most vulnerable citizens, protect the middle class, continue to provide conditions of stability and security to the Greeks and create new opportunities for all.

He stressed that the government of Kyriakos Mitsotakis firmly and firmly expresses the principles of equitable development and social care, hence – as he said – not only stood up but also strengthened and today is at the forefront of the national effort.

Finally, Mr. Karamalis pointed out: “The challenges ahead of us are great. And we know them well. That is why in closing I want to address especially to our young people. And to tell them that we are here, faithful to the appointment with our history, to protect what we have won with effort, to ensure fair prosperity, social justice, security, our national independence. We are here knowing from struggles inside and outside Greece, we are here to give to the new generation of Greeks a stronger homeland. “We are here with a lighted torch that goes from hand to hand and reminds us of what it means to be a national duty and a battle for a Greece that believes in itself, is inspired by its past, but above all looks to the future with confidence.”
