K. Frangogianis: Enlargement of the economic cooperation between Greece and Kosovo

The further expansion of the cooperation in the economic and trade relations of our country with Kosovo was in the center of yesterday’s visit paid by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy and Extroversion, Costas Frangogiannis in Pristina.

In the meetings that Mr. Frangogiannis had, according to a relevant announcement, both with the Prime Minister Albin Kurti and with government officials, the prospects of strengthening the activity of Greek companies in the region were examined. In this direction, a relevant declaration of intent was signed by Mr. Frangogiannis and the Kosovo Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Kreshnik Ahmeti.

The topic of discussion was also the organization of the first targeted business forum between the two countries in Athens, in a short time, in sectors related to construction, energy, trade, and tourism.

In addition to issues related to the stimulation of bilateral trade, issues of energy cooperation with emphasis on renewable energy sources were discussed, as well as issues of education and culture of mutual interest.

During his stay in Pristina, Mr. Frangogiannis also had a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Donika Gervalla-Scawarz. Also at the working lunch given to him by the Deputy Foreign Minister Mr. Ahmeti, he had talks with the Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade Artane Rizvanolli and the Minister of Economy Rozeta Hajdari.
